Research projects

The Hub is delivering a diverse range of bioenergy research projects from fundamental science to engineering challenges, social responses to technologies, economic context and policy development. Many take a whole-systems perspective to comprehensively evaluate the potential of future technology options.

The first 19 bioenergy research projects were directly funded by EPSRC, You can read about each of the projects on their individual pages, with details of the principal investigators and partners involved. Projects 20 - 43 have been funded through the SUPERGEN Bioenergy Hub flexible funding allocation.
