Wednesday 6 November, 1.30-3.30pm, Gothia Towers
This workshop is being held with Nordic Energy Research to provide the basis for an evaluation of the sustainable application of biomass in the Nordics for biofuels for heating and transport sectors. This will go towards producing a policy brief summarising the various perspectives as well as an outline of potential Nordic solutions for sustainable use of biomass, at the request of the Nordic Council of Ministers.
Participants will be challenged to discuss strategic questions formulated by a number of representatives from industry and research. The format is discussion and interaction, rather than presentations. We hope that the result from the workshop can help form a successful platform for bioenergy development in the Nordics over the coming decade.
