The Supergen Bioenergy Hub Annual Assembly brings together our network to showcase the exciting work going on at the Hub and this year we will be hosting it virtually, on the 16-17 of November. Register now!
The morning of Monday 16 November will see the Early Career Researcher Forum begin at 09:00 GMT, being planned and hosted by our SHARE network. The opening of the assembly will take place at 13:00 GMT, beginning with an opening speech from Hub Director, Prof. Patricia Thornley, followed by a talk from Peter Coleman, Head of Bioenergy and Land Use Science at BEIS. In the afternoon we will host sessions from two of our Topic Groups, showcasing the work that has taken place during the past year, including chance for panel discussion, activities and networking in the evening.
On the second day, we will kick off with sessions from our other two Topic Groups at 09:00 GMT on Tuesday 17 November, followed by an interactive poster display and closing session, bringing the assembly to an end at 12:30 GMT. The sessions will be taking place online via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra – you do not need to download any software for this as it is a browser-based platform.
Each attendee will be provided with details of how to access the assembly and a full confirmed schedule containing links to sessions nearer the time of the event. Registration is free and UK-based registrants who complete the registration process will be eligible for a Hub welcome pack.
