About

At Loughborough University, I focus on the catalytic hydrothermal liquefaction of biomass and chemical wastes, catalytic bio-oil upgrading, and aqueous phase reforming of the aqueous phase. My primary research themes are solid state catalysis, material characterisation, biomass conversion technologies, waste plastic utilisation, green chemistry, renewable energy. At the University of Surrey, I focus on exploring recycling technologies for the non-municipal, non-major mineral construction and demolition wastes.
