Why should you attend?
This BRISK open workshop is expected to be of interest to anyone involved in gasification methods used to produce synfuels, heat and power. It will explore some of the key challenges inherent to power production in the European gasification landscape and the major themes to be covered will include:
- Status of biomass gasification in Europe;
- Fundamental aspects of 2nd generation biofuels gasification;
- Advanced gasification practices;
- BRISK Transnational Access activities.
Site visit – 4:15pm to 5:30pm
At the end of the workshop there will be an opportunity to visit the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) gasification laboratories.

About BRISK
BRISK is a research infrastructure. Its main activity is to fund researchers from Europe and qualifying countries to carry out thermo-chemical biomass conversion research at leading European laboratories. The project will pay for the costs associated with accessing and supporting the facilities, along with a grant for travel, accommodation and subsistence.
