International Scientific Fellows hosted at Aston University

Supergen Bioenergy Hub Co-I Mirjam Roeder and Abed Alaswad are delighted to host three British Council International Scientific Partnership Fund Fellows from the Philippines at the Energy & Bioproducts Research Institute (EBRI) at Aston University for the next 12 months.

The fellowships illustrate the ongoing collaboration between the Supergen Bioenergy Hub, EBRI and the Philippines, with which close links have been fostered through a series of research funded projects and long-term relationships with industry and academic partners in the country.

Joan Talubo, Lawrence Limjuco and Gilbuena Romeo Jr are bringing their international expertise from across a range of disciplines to the Institute, undertaking research collaborations with key academic research staff during their stay.

Their research projects will align with the expertise within the Institute and the college, focusing on life cycle assessment, energy resilience and sustainability practices.
