Launch Event for Final Report of UK and India Bioenergy research project

Hosted by Supergen Bioenergy Hub, the online launch of the Final Report provides a platform for sharing the findings of the Report and an opportunity to celebrate the contributions of the participants involved in the online workshops.

The event will feature a welcome from the UKRI and input from bioenergy specialists. Professor Patricia Thornley will present the findings of the Final Report followed by a panel Q&A on taking the recommendations of the report forward.

The Final Report is the result of contributions from three online workshops held in February and March to establish existing levels of activity, discuss priorities, identify gaps and opportunities to work together. The discussions were separated into a range of thematic areas and lead by two academic researchers per subject theme from the UK and India. The Report sets the scene of the current state of play of Bioenergy in the UK and India and showcases impact stories on existing partnership projects to inspire recommendations for the future.
