Mapping UK Bioenergy
A mapping exercise on Bioenergy Research in the UK is being carried out by the European Bioenergy Research Institute (EBRI), funded by the SUPERGENBioenergy Hub. This will establish a database of active research institutes and groups across the UK to improve research collaboration and identify important research gaps. The results of the study will be presented at the International Bioenergy Conference 2017 in Manchester and the final report will be completed in summer 2017. Respondents will be sent a copy.
The research topics defined on the study involve:
– Bioenergy and the environment
– Biomass and waste
– Biomass pre-processing technologies
– Primary conversion engineering
– Energy vectors: products from biomass
– System modelling and analysis
– Technology demonstration & integration
As a key UK Bioenergy Stakeholder we would be very grateful if you could arrange for the Head of your Research Group to participate in this mapping exercise or nominate someone else to do it on their behalf.
Please do not hesitate to contact Natalia Gomez (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions.
