New PhD studentships at EBRI, Aston University

We have five PhD studentships available within EBRI at Aston University. Successful applicants will be part of the Supergen Bioenergy Hub, and supervisors include Patricia Thornley, Tony Bridgwater, Mirjam Röder and Katie Chong.

Comparative analysis of policy instruments for bioenergy as part of the transition to a low-carbon and bioeconomy

Economic and socio-economic feasibility of bioenergy systems

Catalytic biomass pre-treatment and catalytic upgrading of biorefinery streams via combination of ionic liquids with commercial and novel solid catalysts

Upgrading lignocellulose waste biomass using thermochemical and biological conversion routes
