Photo Competition – Your bioenergy story
It’s summer competition time! As part of our Supergen Bioenergy Hub Showcase event at Aston University on 6-8 September, we are creating a gallery photo exhibition to tell the story of the bioenergy lifecycle from biomass crop to user.
We would love to have your real-life photos from your world of bioenergy. From different types of energy crops, biomass or waste, or a new technology or systems you are working with to analyse and assess performance, share your photos and tell the bioenergy story with us!
The categories for entry are:
Inspired by the work of Maurine Broomfield, industrial photographer, the judges will be looking for pictures that illustrate the biomass story and our research whilst showing the beauty in industrial processes and crops. This is a chance to get creative!
One winner from each category will be selected at the gallery reception during our Supergen Bioenergy Hub Showcase event on 7 September, where there will also be an additional vote for the ‘Peoples favourite’ photo to be awarded on the night.
The prize for each winner will be a Love2Shop voucher and Supergen Bioenergy Hub goody bag! A tour of the state-of-the art EBRI research facilities at Aston University can also be organised with our Supergen Bionergy Hub team (subject to availability).
How to apply:
All entries to be sent as an attachment to supergen-bioenergy@aston.ac.uk, with a short description of the image, the category your image represents, along with your Full Name, Organisation or Institution, and contact email address/phone number.
Terms & Conditions:
- The entrant must be the original photo creator and solely hold the copyright.
- The photo should ideally be in JPEG format.
- You can submit two entries per category.
- The entrant must provide the following details:
- full name
- organisation or institution
- contact email address/phone number
- a short description of the image
- the category your image represents
- Future use of submitted photos will only occur with entrants permission.
