Supergen Bioenergy Hub exhibit at CHEM UK 2025

The Supergen Bioenergy Hub team were delighted to co-host an exhibition stand with colleagues from the Energy and Bioproducts Research Institute, Aston University at CHEMUK 2025 in Birmingham on 21 – 22 May 2025.

CHEMUK is the UK’s largest annual chemical, laboratory and process industries supply chain expo and we were proud to be part of the showcase of 600 specialist exhibitors across five show zones.

We engaged with a wide range of industrial companies, SMEs, consultancies and policymakers, as well as a number of early career researchers and alumni of Aston University, making new contacts for the Hub and the wider university.

We received positive feedback on our ‘Build your own biorefinery‘ book, our interactive tool about the variety of biomass resources we can convert into useful bioenergy and bioproducts, while taking into account the impact on climate, nature, jobs and cost.
