Supergen Bioenergy Hub Researchers Day – 2nd of May – Glasgow

We would like to invite researchers from all our hub partners to attend our annual Researchers Day on the 2nd of May. This event is open to research staff from all our hub partners (even if you are not directly funded by the hub), which includes the following institutes:

Researchers Day

Day and Date: Wednesday 2nd of May
Time: 11-6pm
Location: University of Glasgow

What to expect: The researchers day will include a progress presentation from each of our Systems, Vectors, Conversion, Biomass resources and Pretreatment theme leaders as well as presentations from our challenge and flexible funded projects which will include the following presentations:

  • Establishing Viable Pathways for Increasing Biofuel Production from UK Wastes & Residues to meet Transport Energy Targets
  • Novel and integrated low carbon process combining the gasification of waste biomass and plasma-catalytic reforming for the production of sustainable aviation biofuels
  • PhytoPower: Safely transforming mercury phytoremediation crops into bioenergy
  • Integration of biochar and diverse bioenergy crops into SE Asian agriculture

Networking opportunities: As well as the coffee and lunch breaks, there will be an opportunity to network with hub members at a social event that evening. More details will be sent upon registration.
