Support for BEIS Hydrogen BECCS Innovation Programme competition

The Department for Business, Innovation and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is providing £5 million in funding to support innovation in hydrogen BECCS (bioenergy with carbon capture and storage) technologies. You must register for the competition by 12 noon BST on 4 March 2022 and applications must be submitted by 12 noon BST on 11 March 2022. Find out more and apply.

The Supergen Bioenergy Hub and BEIS both think it is incredibly important that bids brought forward and projects funded under this programme include adequate demonstration, and this can be supported by access to existing research and innovation facilities.
