Survey to support delivery of Supergen Bioenergy Hub stakeholder forums
The Supergen Bioenergy Hub aims to use UK research knowledge and capability to support sustainable biomass and bioenergy deployment. A key way to do this is through our stakeholder forums, and we need your help to understand how best to run our Industry Forum and Professional Forum.
We would be very grateful if you could take a few moments to complete the following survey.
Supergen Bioenergy Hub stakeholder forum survey
Information on the forums
The Industry Forum is for representatives from the industrial biomass, bioenergy and bio-based chemicals and materials community in the UK, including international organisations with a UK presence. It’s an opportunity to share technical information on challenges and opportunities in UK biomass and bioenergy with other commercial and academic actors in the sector.
We are planning to hold Industry Forum meetings at different locations around the UK, each focused on a particular topic, including for example: hydrogen; BECCUS; aviation and low-carbon transport fuels; heat; bioproducts; resource availability and land use; and sustainability standards.
The Professional Forum will act as a knowledge exchange forum to provide useful information for professionals in areas tangentially related to the biomass and bioenergy sector, such as planning, law, consultancy, finance, architecture and transport, with the aim of supporting sustainable deployment.
We will hold webinars on topics such as lifecycle assessment; ecosystem services delivered by by purpose-grown biomass; biomass for heating; biomass for hydrogen; and low-carbon transport fuels.
