UK-India Biowaste to Hydrogen Masterclass
In conjunction with the British High Commission in New Delhi we are delighted to be supporting the first online Masterclass for members of the UK-India Hydrogen Hub.
The UK India Hydrogen Hub currently has 104 members and is a coalition of UK and India research groups and innovators working together to enhance the role of hydrogen in the UK and India’s decarbonisation journey.
The Masterclass is bringing together bioenergy experts from the UK and India to deliver the first Masterclass on Biomass waste to Hydrogen pathway.
The online session took place from 10.00-11.30am UK time on 18 October and offered an opportunity to learn key outcomes and lessons learned from the Hydex project and current BECCs projects undertaken by colleagues at EBRI and as part of the Supergen Bioenergy Hub at Aston University, as well as counterparts in India from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and The Energy and Resources Institute.
During the session, participants were asked to share their most common challenges faced in scaling up of biomass pathways for clean hydrogen production and utilisation with ‘hydrogen demand’ and ‘cost’ receiving the most votes.
