Young Researchers Conference: Energy Efficiency & Biomass (Feb 2016)

The Young Researchers Conference is held in the context of the World Sustainable Energy Days (24th and 25th of February 2015). With ­more than 700 participants from over 60 countries each ­year, the World Sustainable Energy Days are one of Europe’s largest annual conferences on sustainable energy. The young researchers conference is linked to the main topics of the WSED16, ­this conference focuses on biomass and on energy ­efficiency in buildings.
Call for abstracts (deadline 9th October 2015):
Young researchers and professionals (born after 1980) are ­invited to ­submit ­contributions at: www.wsed.at/call. Submissions (in English only) are welcome from all scientific fields (e.g. technology & ­engineering, economic and social ­sciences, architecture, law, arts, etc.). A high-level scientific committee selects ­papers for oral and poster presentation. The 2 best contributions are honoured with the awards “Best Young Researcher: ­Energy Efficiency” and “Best Young Researcher: Biomass”. The researcher(s) will ­receive 1,000 Euro each as prize money.
The costs of accommodation, meals, ­participation and local transport (3 conference days) for up to 60 selected participants are covered by the organiser.
